I meant I will be here on the forum while watching the game on TV. We have virtually all the hockey we need on cable and satellite. TSN also stream all the Canada games as well. We just don't have the full blown NHL package.

I will be, also I have more info on the two elbow Majors from last night, Peter Hrasko first Elbow Major 1st period last night, 2 games suspended. Martin Marincin second Elbow Major of the game in the 3rd period received an additional 3 games suspension from Dan Marouelli,the IIHF`s appointed Disciplinary Single Judge.

Canadian forward Zack Kassian was assessed a further one-game suspension (two games in total) by the IIHF for his hit to the head and neck area on Czech forward Petr Senkerik.



As a result, he will miss Canada's next two games, against Norway and Sweden

You know anywhere else in the beer leagues that would have been a clean hit with a good chance of a punch in the mouth in the parking lot after the game.

Heck of a hard hit but does not warrant the suspension in my humble opinion.

Nor a penalty in my opinion, seems the IIHF is trying to make this a kinder gentler game, the uncontested icing is going to make me scream! The Issue I see that may have some credibility is that we all know who Dan Marouelli is and possibly he is coming down on this hit to eliminate any call of loyalty to Canada which to be honest I cannot blame him in the least however I still disagree with the call. The two Slovak hits were pretty clear Elbow's the second of which didn't surprise me in the least that he was punished severely. I do wish I had a clear line of information on the calls though as I just found out that both were not game disqualifications (as called by the TV commentators) but Match penalties.
