dont be upset.......

the kids the USA put on the ice are the best in the world. my only complaint is that each world juniors is not a bes to 5 or 7. your team won the gold medal last year, and that is beacuse they are great !!!! 'elll someone could have pulled the fire alarm when the were sleeping last night to put them off thier game...lotta little factors go into a game to get the kids off track

we just beat them one game......thats all.

It is purdy. I can hum your national anthem. Don't know the words but the first two. Ohhh Canada....... Went to stock car races on dirt in N MN. There was always Canadiens racing too so they always played both anthems... Most came from Thunder Bay. Spent a nite there on our honeymoon as we drove completely around Lake Superior.

Boy did I get off track!

Not overly upset one of my teams is going to the gold medal game the other is going to the bronze medal game...Hows this guys does this meet the requirements of loosing the bet?

hey BP.......

i want to agree with you on last games comment......you said something like......dont worry ....a team just needs a little wake up call to get them going.....or to get them to the intensity that they need to win a tournament like this, or for that fact the cup........you are totally correct.....in the cup...a team needs someone to tale them to game 7 to make then wake up and realize the intensity and effort it takes to win a world title.....its the best thing for them.

The night is still young ... almost halftime of the Orange Bowl ... good game going, 13 - 12 Stanford over Virginia Tech. Gonna be a good second half!

Chivas count is at 6 and steady.....well maybe 1 more before bed !!!!
Great game to watch and nice to see that both teams have respect for each other. USA go and beat those Swedes on Wednesday....and Canada will see what they can do with the Russians !!!!
Great thread again tonight everyone. It was a pleasure to be a part of it.
Just one thing though I thought the bet was the flag as the avatar ???? I could be wrong though !!!
