Ayup, boating season is about over and he has time on his hands. Might as well cut something off somebody :laugh:. If my skin guy calls up and wants to cut something off I ask what time I should be there.

Jeep I'll have you added to my prayer wheel as I head back to the hospital for the second time in a 2 weeks on Friday.

Cancer took my father many years ago. He weighed 79lbs when he passed. Also have a niece in Fla, 16 years old who just finished therapy and is now in remission.

Myself I'll stick with heart disease. I don't want to linger like my father did. Hopefully I'll be dead before I hit the floor! Dam I hate needles and IV's.

I was just getting the whole episode out of my head when I got a call from the surgeon's office today to schedule another visit to remove a couple of molds on my back that he didn't like on the last visit. Maybe work is slow for him and he's looking for something to do.........not likely. Well. the saga continues.

I see my dermatologist every 3 or 6 months, depending on what he cut off me the last time I was in, or when he's got a boat payment due . My story is pretty much the same as yours. I lost count of the divots he's taken out of me over the years, and I have a gnarly scar on my shoulder where I had melanoma. Having glowing-white Irish skin and growing up in South Florida took its toll, and like you, the damage was done when I was a teenager.

It's a hassle dealing with it, but it beats the alternative. I intend to retire in a couple years, and spend LOTS of time with my toys, and my amazing wife.

Keep your head up, Jeep Man, and don't forget to coat it in sun block!
