With the above post being said does this mean I should take the lower unit off again and re-do the cable tie. I am wondering if this might keep me from being able to get the correct forward, neutral, reverse adjustment. The biggest problem I am having is that at the four turns out the rod is not high enough to line the hole up on the coupler to put the pin in. I am having to actually pull up a little on the rod to get it to line up which takes it out of neutral. If I am understanding you right then it is possible that the current position of the cable tie on the bellows is in the wrong place and not lined up with the grove on the rod?
