Cannot see oil level in my Wellcraft Coastal. Any suggestions

Have a 200- Wellcraft Coastal, tried everything to see how much oil is in the compartment. Its at the bottom of the back compartment, very hard to see, tried everything. Finally I just add oil every so often Any tricks.

How about making up a dipstick? Dip it in look at the level and wipe it off.

I use a really bright light and wiggle the boat - you'll see it.

You didn't tell us what make motor you have so we'd know what the tank was like. If it is a Johnson or Evinrude, you can install an oil level gauge kit.

2000 200hp Evinrude Fitch, if that would work, that would be great.
