When i dissasembled the valves of my 2year old gm350 carburated, not a stock engine but a base marine engine with the following heads :[ 14096217 Iron heads, centerbolt, They are 1987+ (and later) and feature 72 degree center bolts. Valves are 1.94 and 1.5 with 64cc combustion chambers] ,i realised that one exhaust stem seal was missing.i can't explain how or why since the engine was brand new but somewhere on the net i read that it's not important as far as the guide bore of the stem is good.Anyway i want to replace it but i don't know where to find it since The Sierra catalogue doesn't refer an exhaust seal for 350 (doesn't the stock Mercruiser 5.7 have this seal?)
The exhaust valve's diameter is 0.37" and the valve has the #10093033.The seal as you see in the pix consists of 2 parts and there is also a sealring that goes at the second groove of the stem.Any help apreciated.
