i dont have an ID plate on my evinrude. the only number i found on top of the motor was RPH 0432164. is there anyone that can tell me what year and size motor this would be? when i bought the boat the guy said it was a 1989 175 hp
RPH means Replacement Powerhead. In other words, the powerhead was replaced under warranty at some time. If the main data tag is missing you are SOL except to post some pictures and see if we can ID it from decals, etc.
