I think I have probably answered this a dozen times. A shouldered stripper bolt is the proper bolt for a puller. That's probably why OMC supplied them with there puller for 50 yrs.

yeah burped the gas all night,,,,thanks cajuncook1,,,i feel ok today,,but i think it was about a half shot glass full that got down,,,wont use a beer bottle again,i was just being a dingleberry ,not watching what i was doing,, havent had a chance today to mess with the float and see if it needs adj or hung up,,,hope thats all it is

Agree. I broke down and bought some for my puller. Those bolts are strong!

motor quit on me when I was on the lake on a windy day. Gas was pouring out of the carb whenever the primer bulb was squeezed.
Got a $20 carb kit and it fixed the problem.
