can't get up on step

i'm a rookie boat owner of a 18ft smokercraft with a 75 hp mercury. first two times i took the boat out it worked fine. now somehow i have lost some hp can't get up on step. full throttle seems to be more like half throttle. it just sucks up the gas. someone help me out. i live in alaska it's prime fishing time. Thanks John

Still using lots of fuel bbut no performance, first check spark on all cyl's using an adjustable gap tester set to 7/16 inch. Repost what you find.
