Re: cant see my trailer!

I had the same problem with my grandpas fishing boat, and i still do. When i have to do to the launch i have my brother or friends stand on the end of the trailer. They make a good post and its fun. :D And since your trailer is only for a 14 ft boat, it means it is rather ligfht. Do what i do and when the trailer gets crooked when backing up, jump out and drag it sideways until its straight

A back up camera on the license plate holder is an option. I bought one for $89 at Murray's Auto Parts. But it is just as easy to open the tail gate of my Chrysler Town & Country and put one side on the rear seat into the Stow & Go position.

Good luck

I added trailer guides so I can see my trailer backing up plus it helps guide the boat on. About $40. :D

Where did you get the trailer guides for $40? I had guides on mine, but the metal 90 degree corner elbows rusted....I have been looking for aluminum 90 degree corner elbows or an equivalent to just make my own again with no luck....

all those are great ideas. Im going to stick with the broom stick since it was free, but I think Ill end up putting together some guides out of something laying around the shop.

Look for aluminum railing fittings. Sometimes called Speed Rail Fittings and Structural Rail Fittings and Stair Rail Fittings. Around $12 for 1.25" pipe.
They look like this:
