I've been looking for a boat for about 3 months now. I know what type of boat I like, something similar to a Seaswirl Striper 18-19' long, dual console, all fiberglass finish floor, 4+ yrs old. I know Triumph makes a similar boat as well. I can't seem to find anything on sale. I've looked on craigslist and boattrader in Washington, Oregon and even California every day. No luck. I don't want to buy new, as I'm a new boater. The price drop for a new one now seem very tempting though. Many dealers has inventory from 2007! There are many of these types of boat in Florida but not the Northwest. Though the Seaswirl is made in Washington. Any ideas on where I can look for used boats? Any other manufacturer makes a similar boat. How do you think the inventory would be like in the fall/winter season?
