[Coolwater II]

Three of my riveted snaptite fasteners broke off from the fiberglass on my boat. The rivets actaully snapped off. I bought some screw in fasteners. What is the best way to put these in, w/o chipping the fiberglass? I need to somehow get the broken rivet stud out as well. Any ideas?<br />Thanks

Countersinking the edge of the hole will help prevent chipping. Drill the rivets out and screw the studs in. Most come in screw sizes 6 or 8 by 1/2" long so check the fit. If too big, fill in the holes with structural filler (cheap 5 minute epoxy from wallyworld will work fine) and re-drill for correct size.
