I was talking to a friend this weekend when we both recounted our favorite story about a friend we have not seen for at least 13 years.

One day our friend was driving down a local two-lane county highway in an old chrysler we called the aqua duck, due its likeness to the amphibious boats from the Wisconsin Dells tours. He was cruising around 60 miles per hour when he topped a hill on the edge of a river valley. At the bottom of this hill, there was a bridge over a river where a lot of people fish. There were 4 or five people fishing at the time. As he sped down the hill, one of the fishermen was reeling in something. He pulled it over the railing of the bridge, set it on the ground and started celebrating the sizeable fish. Onfortunately, he set the fish down in the lane of the highway and me friend could not avoid but run it over. He slowed down for the fishermen, but the fisherman did not pay attention and laid the fish down in the road just before my friend got there. He said the look of shock and outrage on the fisherman's face was priceless. He felt bad about running over the fish, but said there was no way he could stop the behemoth old Chrysler.
