carb adjustment

I recently purchased a 1999 40 HP Merc. Before I put it in the water I added a can of Sea Foam filled the tank with gas, changed plugs and fuel filter. The motor runs fine above 1200 RPM but stalls at idle. To re-start I have to advance the throttle and choke it a little. What adjustments do I need to make what carb adjustment screws need to be turned and which way.

How much SeaFoam did you add to how much gas?

John, Thanks for responding. One can of Sea Foam to 18 gallons of gas
