carb advice

if i rebuild carbs on 1973 85 hp will i have to sync carbs and timing also how easy is it to mess it up any advice ? thanks

You do not necessarily need to do anything BUT: Anytime you remove the carbs they will go back on the manifold in a very slightly different position--not a lot, but just enough to make it a good idea to re-synchronize them. Before you go rebuilding them, see if it is really necessary. Very often a good careful cleaning will restor the to brand new condition.

the problem im having is moter didnt start so i replaced plugs moter started an ideled for bout 10 mins tham died i could smell gas
would not start again guess i foweld plugs not sure what to do
