Just curious to see what some of the others on here use as a carb cleaning method. I've read multiple posts about it (and don't have a carb I'm working on, just putting out some food for thought).
Some people submerge / soak in cleaner and others say not to. Some people "boil" (which I have never done).

Just curious to see whats your preference?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Carb cleaning

it depends on what the carb looks like when i take it apart. i've used the bath, but not plastic parts, i've soaked them in spray. always blow out with compressed air, and i use a couple or 3 strands of wire from and extension cord to make sure there is no crap still stuck in the jets.

Re: Carb cleaning

Boiling or soaking(same thing) in real carb cleaner fluid is the only method we use....Though some people do have some success with spray cleaners.
