I rebuilt the carb on my 1974 eska 5 HP and somehow lost the filter/screen that goes in the carb. The carb is a tecumseh which has a small screen that goes the fuel inlet on the carb. I have called and gone to several small motor repair shops and no one can help me.
Does anyone have one of these laying around their shop that I can buy?

i have seen that screen in small 2 stroke carb kits for line trimmers and other rebuild kits for the zama and walbro carb kits. i'll try and see if i can locate one in our extra parts bin in the shop for you.if i happen to find one i'll send you a pm, otherwise i would take mr crabs advice. good luck with your rebuild

I've seen stainless screens in head shops, too. You can cut them with good scissors. Are there still head shops?

hi hogdoctor, couldn't find one in spare parts bin but i did come up with a fuel screen number for you walbro 140-70-08 oregon part #55-342, you might get lucky at a local shop, the part should only be @ a buck.
