I've read of folks replacing the plastic float bowls with metal one. I've got a 1996 115hp that has warped bowls. I'd even try sanding them down but don't know if that will affect the neddle level. Just got the call that bluefin are busting inshore but don't trust the boat for more than bay fishing right now.

Anyone know were I can get metal bowls to replace the plastic ones?

Thanks

I believe the replacements from the dealer are now metal ones....since the plastic ones had your problem....call the dealer and ask if the new one he has is metal..

Just ordered a couple but the dealer said since the part number had not changed they would probably be plastic, we'll see.

Sanding ok, if you only take a few thousands off. Tighten screws even,
