Hello everyone. I have been battling an ongoing carb issue with my 2001 40 hp 2 stroke Mercury. I finally figured out that the fuel lines are breaking down and filling my carbs with small pieces of rubber. I have rebuilt the carb for the second time and replaced all the fuel lines. I am going to hook everything back up tonight but I do have a questions on my carb. I got the Mercury manual and there is a long screw on the carb that I cannot find refrence to in the manual. I believe it is the 2 stoke oil adjustment but I am not 100% sure. Any help will be greatly appericated. Also how do I set this screw? The top screw is the idle setting according to the manual.
