1979 johnson 35 hp seahorse

Ive been having problems with the boat motor weak and surges at wot.The carbs are clean and ect.Im thinking it needs to be adjusted but where is the adjuster?When i hit the electric choke it gives it a guick boost then back to serging.

Your motor doesn't have a high speed adjustment. The high speed jet controls the fuel flow. It's located in the bottom of the float bowl and is sometimes overlooked when cleaning the carb. However, your issue may not be the carb, it kinda sounds like the fuel pump may be weakening or leaking.

yea thats about all thats left.Ive tightened all the hoses and checked about everything.i know its not stopped up ive ran it the whole summer like this.but the more i drive it the worse it gets.
