Re: Carb issue

You need to:Verify model number as well and look for the stamp on the side of the carb...

Re: Carb issue

I apologize am new to I- Boats and my first post. The wme# 3301-824924-c is on the side of the carbs. I,m wanting to do a rebuild and the boat shop said that these carbs. don't match serial# or year. Chart above shows that. Thanks.

Your engine is a model:

1075412RD MERCURY 1995 75

Parts listing:

http://www.crowleymarine.com/mercury-outboard/554.cfm

Service Manual: 90-830234R04

http://1manual.com/Mercury manuals/Service Manual PDFs/TwoStroke/830234r3/cover.pdf

You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed to read this manual. If you scroll down to the lower part of the opening page, you will see the various engine components in red. Click on the one you want and when the first page opens, click on the "Save As" icon at the top LH corner of the page and you can save it to your computer.

Re: Carb issue

Thanks Gerry for the manual and it looks to me that the carbs have been changed. How will this affect the engine? The reason I ask is I did the decarb that is posted in the forum with sea foam and it worked but I believe it loosened a piece of trash in a carb and it is missing at idle speed but seems to run fine at mid to full throttle. After running at idle for a while I pulled the plugs and all 3 are wet with fuel. So I thought rebuilding carbs would help.
Thanks to all who replied.

I have the same model carb. I am having great difficultly confirming the carb kits I need. Would you happen to know the source of your carb kits / part number? I would be so grateful if you did, because I am about ready to give up after two days of searching.
