Carb. Leak

I just got my carb. back from the mechanic because i sent it there to get rebuilt. It is a carb. for a 1988 Johnson 6 hp and I think i have the wrong gasket on it. The carb. is leaking from a factory made indention above a screen (located on the side of the carb.). The way the top gasket is shaped, it does not seal the indention. I know this post wasnt very clear, but could someone tell me if i have the wrong gasket on it or do i have to put something in the indention to seal it.

Hi, Remkid.<br /><br />I think you need to take your carb back to the wrench who rebuilt it for you. He may have used the wrong kit, and needs to do it over or replace that gasket with the correct one.<br /><br />Good luck.
