Thanks!! I went to the junk yard today and got an old valve cover and cut out the opening for doing the running valve lash adjustment. In the morning I will go to O'Reillys or Autozone and pick up some rocker stoppers and do the adjustment again with the engine running. At the same time I will check to see if I have a broken valve spring as previously suggested.

Save yourself some $ and work, usually you don't need both! Either the cut out rocker covers, Or, use the rocker arm clips.

Just do it like in the last video, but I suggest 1/2 turn down instead, you never want them too tight, especially if the engine ever overheats. The only reason you take them down a bit from zero lash, is to stop the clatter in case they get loose at zero lash. At 1/2 a turn down your engine will be more responsive all around.
