carb problem, too much fuel

I think Know the answer to this one. It starts now, but its getting WAY TOO MUCH fuel. Its coming out hte top of the carb.

I'm thinking that the float was set inaccurately and the seat isn't closing so the bowl just keeps filling. Sound right?

or the diaphram in the fuel pump is ruptured - is there any gas in the overflow tube from the pump to the carb?

hmmm, my fuel line just comes from the pump up to the carb? I've heard of this overflow, but I don't know if its there?

Yup, sticking needle and seat, float set wrong or float needs replacement. If carb has been rebuilt, the float and needle and seat should be new already. Therefore it's not properly adjusted if thats the case.
