I have to ask, has anybody installed an electric fuel pump in the fuel line someplace?

do you mean that when you squeeze the primer bulb fuel leaks out of the carbs? if yes then it's time to rebuild. that likely means your floats are not adjusted correctly and are failing to stop the carb bowls from overfilling.

No electric fuel pump installed. Fuel does come out when motor is running also. Thank you for replying.

How much is coming out and when? Be specific. Does it run ok? A fine mist blowing out while running is normal. That's why the airbox has a drain hose leading to the intake manifold to recycle it back through the engine. Put the airbox back on and you will never know it is happening.

Yes, When the bulb is squeezed excess fuel comes out. Yes, when running fuel does come out of the carbs not alot but you can see it. I have no air box did not know fuel was recycled. Runs OK. When accelerating sometimes will bog down, I let up on the throttle and fuel seems to catch up to acceleration.

No air box? That thing is a silencer first, but also is part of the exhaust tuning (involves sound waves, but I won't try to get too technical). Running without it may affect performance. Just how much is hard to say.

If flooding over while squeezing primer bulb, the float valves are not seating. OR you are mashing on it too hard. Considering the other symptoms, I suspect the float valves.
