Re: Carb question

I think the power piston works off of manifold vacuum and a spring that returns it

Re: Carb question

There are a few ways to adjust the area you are attempting to adjust. You can adjust the float level, the main metering jets and or rods, or the spring under the power piston. Do not attempt to bend the hanger holding the main metering rods or adjust the hight. There is a preset distance from the bottom of the piston to the top of the rod hanger, and all adjustments should come from different combinations of metering rods and jets(in a quad you can change the primary jets, not the secondary jets)

Although, up in smoke asks the best question, what are you tying to remedy?

Re: Carb question

there are 2 ways to adjust the power piston, neither are wise. One is to stretch the spring, the other is to shorten it by cutting a coil or two.
