carb rebuild help please

dont have a float gauge...the part number is 324891 it says on it in the picture that is fits a lot of motors.

i am working ona 1996 4 stroke 15 hp..

i need the height the float needs to be while upside down in the closed valve position.....can some one measure it and give it to me in inches...i have a digital caliper I can use to set the float...

I can measure to .001" if need be
