Can't remove the 2 small orifices in float bowl. I messed them up in my stubborn refusal to buy $20 orifice tool. I finally caved in but too late because they are not moving.

If they are all buggered up, how would one remove them? E-Z out? Anyways they should be the #3's in this diagram in case anybody did not know which ones I was referring to.

EX out and order new ones, and the carb tool also.

Got tool and on the other carb got all orifices out except for one. That would be one of the #13's. Not E-Zing out either. The 2 other orifices I did get out but had to use a drill bit that spun them forward and they came out the other end.

I know the book says to use Lock Nut but the mechanic at Fairwinds says they would never do that. I am not seeing any traces but they seem to be in there good.

Got that out. Found my real E-Z outset. That "Left Hand bit" from Harbor Freight is a little BS.

If you still have any stuck, be careful about using an EZ out. I had 2 get stuck on me and used one of the ez out things, and one came out no problem, the other one actually ended up splitting the lower carb bowl in half where it was screwed in. $40 part. I'm sure it was part my fault, but I couldn't get it to budge, so I was pushing down pretty hard. It didn't budge until the bowl split.
