Carb Rebuild Thread?

I am going to put in an attempt at rebuilding my carbs. I have a 225hp 1994 Evinrude Ocean Pro.

I was looking for the "carb rebuild" post and even searched for it. Was it deleted or am I just not typing in the correct words in the seach function on this page?

Thank you sir! ... I guess I should have backed further out of the threads as I did my search in Johnson and Evinrude outboards and I should have backed all the way out ...

So I was wondering, I found the carb rebuild kit, Part Number #0435678 for my motor from ShopEvinrude.com. I need 6 of them! The price is quite reasonable but I was wondering if there is a place I can get the rebuild kits cheaper?

iboats has aftermarket kits. My 2 cents is to buy OEM.

Does your motor really require 6 rebild kits? Kinda looks like they are set up in pairs.

Unfortunately I checked with them because I was thinking the same thing after checking out a diagram/schematic I saw online and each kit contains one float and one set of gaskets so I have to get 6 kits.
