ok... I started on here about 2.5 years ago and have had tons and tons of help... and hoping for a bit more. I have a 1963 Evinrude Lark V big twin 40hp.... I have taken this thing apart more times than I care to mention now... but now have yet another problem... I have boiled it down to a fuel delivery problem. cleaned out the carb... new float... looks all pretty and shiny inside now... when I pour gas into the plugs.. she fires up and sounds amazing until that fuel is burnt out.... but doesnt want to take the fuel otherwise... the hoses all look good... everything looks clean... (I am novice at outboards still) but it just wont take it... is there something I have missed?? I followed everything in here almost to the letter.... (couldnt get at high speed jet would this prevent it from getting the fuel?) just starting to get frustrated... thought for sure cleaning the carb and the new kit would solve problems L
Any and all help appreciated....
Thanks again
