I saw that new one on EBay but the guy has some pretty negative reviews in the past months. Thoughts on a Reman (by National Carburetor) one since there is one of those on EBay also?

Thanks for the info on the 1410. It is out of stock anyway..

I don't have a fuel line yet from the mechanical pump to the carb. I prefer hard lines but will go with hose with swaged fittings if I can find the right length.
Ayuh,...... Donno whether Merc ran the Weber carb/ mechanical pump or not,....
I know there's Merc fuel lines available for the electrical pumps,....

A length of steel or cupernickle 3/8" brake line, a couple brake line fittings, a bender, 'n flarin' tool, 'n you can knock off a custom fuel line of yer own,....

Speedway is on backorder too...

Bending the tube is the hard part.

Any thoughts on the quality of a Reman by National Carburetors?

So far, I can't find either Edelbrock or Holley in stock until Novemberish... I want to get the engine running on the test stand so a friend of mine has a Holley not being used that I can borrow for a while... Can anyone tell me what Holley Carb this is? Stamped on the choke tower is 75021-3 and 1663 right below that. Cast on the side of the body is 8050B. It does have the overflow tubes at the top and a port for the fuel pump hose.

Thanks....

Great, should work then to get it running... Then I can work out the long term solution once things get back in stock... The guy that has it said it came off a 24 foot Sea Ray and he thought on a small block.. They changed the boat to fuel injection so that is why the carb came off the engine...

how long has the holley been sitting? was it run dry of gas?

at a minimum, pick up a set of bowl gaskets and metering plate gaskets in case you have to dig into the carb.

Apparently they just changed it out late in the spring so looks like only a couple of months that it has been sitting. There doesn't seem to be any gas in it at least by pumping the throttle plates. Thanks for the info on the gaskets. I just have to finish the sea water pump install, resolve two cooling hose fits, and connect the TB V to be able to light it up.

So, I went to mount the carb today. Seems the two throttle cable brackets (one for QJet and one for Edelbrock) I have don't work with the Holley Carb. What do you do for a throttle cable bracket when using a Holley Carb?

However to just run, no need for cables

Do you have a pic or part number of the Holley Carb bracket? Does it have a place for the Reset Button and the Relay?

Here is what I have to work with ---

I spent some time looking and didn't find a single factory model Merc OEM 350 SBC that listed a Holley.

I have been looking for some pics but no luck finding any pics with Holley carbs. Some time ago I had run across a picture where somebody had modified the bracket I call an Edelbrock bracket (the one in the top of my picture with the bracket for the reset button and relay) but I can't locate that picture and information again. I don't remember if they were using a Holley carb.

Several brackets and throttle cable adapters here https://www.michiganmotorz.com/prod...rs-renew-kits/throttle-brackets-miscellaneous

are you just test running this or permanently mounting ?
