Just like the title says, I wanna go EFI on my 5.0 MerCruiser. Would this kit from Holley do the job?

The carb works great, but on a busy day it's a pain to let the engine warm up for 5 minutes before I can do anything. That and it might be a little more efficient.

Thanks!

Yep.
It'll be more reliable, adjustable, and consistant, but I doubt you'll see a big increase in fuel economy, unless your carb is running really rich now.
A few minutes of warm up is always a good thing.

Well, I think it's a waste of money if you carbed engine is running well. Let it warm up for 5 minutes even longer. You'll engine will thank you for it. Or are you saying you cant move the throttle or boat at all until it warms up? If so you have a choke problem.
