Yeah. As AD says. Not always utilised. My 2003 v8 mpi doesn’t have anything plugged there either.
On a side note…is that picture taken, showing the new rotor or old rotor in place ?
That’s the new rotor

I marked where the old was sitting and placed new one in same spot. Do you see something wrong?

Mmm. Maybe. Might be just the camera angle…but looks almost as if it’s not quite sitting right. Maybe unlikely for it to be, given there is only the two torx retaining bolts to secure it. Can’t go much anyway but where those two position it. Unless they are missing their threads or similar. See what you think of my markings on your photo and with the other photo showing the shape of the cap, where it aligns and mates. Looks like the rotor may be very close to or even looking as if it’s over lapping the area where the cap should sit. Could be wrong.

Everything seated down good. Cap went on with no issues

Ah. Be fine and grand then. Just checking. I’ve cracked a cap on my mpi before, by not seating it quite perfectly. Terrible design in general I think

Well
Looking at the picture again. I better double check and make sure rotor is sitting correctly. Seems like cap shouldn’t have fit right.
