carb trouble

Im working on a 71 evinrude 25hp.s#251025-E07230<br />after a major tune up i put it in a tank and did all adjustments,I ran a gallon of gas through it and shut her down,<br />the very next day it would not give me a cold start.new coils& points new fuel pump but no fuel in the cylinder,if i open the throtle all the way it starts but very rough,i hear the electric choke model is very picky on tightness.<br />any advice would be great,thanks in advance

Did all the adjustments in the tank.<br /><br />Not good. Several carb adjustments need to be made under load, in the water or with a test wheel.<br /><br />Are you using an aftermarket manual or an OEM manual?<br /><br />Good luck.
