Hi guys;

Well we took the Sea Ray out today after solving the charging issues and are now having carberator issues, I believe. It runs good with lots of throttle, but when I pull out of it, it doesn't want to idle. Have to feather it like crazy to get it going. Very hard to start. When its running, about 1100 rpms, one jet doesn't seem to be putting much fuel into the carb.
Today we put some Seafoam into a fresh filter( water seperator) with some fuel and ran it like that for a few minutes also dumping a little into the carb. then let it sit for about 10 minutes and restarted it. There was a large improvement in the way it preformed.
I guess what i'm asking is a carb rebuild in order and which Carb might this be? Can you tell from the serial number?

1995 Sea Ray Signature Series
5.7lt Thunderbolt (serial Number OF363726)

Thank again and few more times in the future I'm sure!

Ken

P.S. This boat is new to me and hasn't been used much in the last few years.
