I notice that usually when i start my boat it tends to smoke a bit on first start of the day. Iv only had the boat for about a month, but i notice that i get a good bit of carbon buildup around the transom and molded platform of the boat.

Is this usual since im running thru hull? or could it be that my Air/Fuel screws are a bit off causing a rich mixture leading to the smoking?

Is this anything i should be worried about? Boat runs great now, no bogging, hesitation, unusuall symptoms

THanks!

Howdy,

More than likely, you need to just back the choke off a little.

If you boat only in warm weather you might be able to back it off all the way and disconnect it. That's what I did to mine.

Cheers,
