Carburator Rebuild

Rebuilding carb on '67 Mercruiser 160 IL6. The kit came with 2 small metal beads. When I disassembled the carb I didn't see any beads. I cleaned it as best I could, replaced the accelerator pump, seat and needle valve and re-assembled it. Is there anything I should look for? I think it was sitting for quite some time....

The kit has an exploded view of the carb. too dosen't it?

Yes, but it seems somewhat generic where it could be used for more than one carb.
