carburetor baffle in 45hp Mariner outboard

I was working on my 45 hp Mariner outboard and the upper carburetor baffle plate fell out. I would like to put it back in but I'm not sure where it goes. Does it just lay on top of the float? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Post a picture of this baffle plate.-------------Or what material / colour is it ?

It lays in the top of carb body and lil "L" goes in gasket slot and gasket/bowl hold it in place...
