Carburetor differences

Hey all. I have replaced my 3.0 OMC engine with a Mercruiser 2.5L and now have to go back to an OMC manifold.

I purchased a new manifold and am wondering if the Mercarb will fit on the OMC manifold or if I have to get some kind of adapter.

If I need to get an adapter, where is the best place to get one?

Depending on the year of the engines it should bolt right up, OMC used the same carb on some 120 and 140 HP engines and its interchangable with the merc carb

Thank you for the info. The engines are both from the 1989/90 era so hopefully the Mercarb will fit up to the OMC manifold.

I guess the best approach is to get the new manifold in and see what happens. I just don't want to be waiting for another purchasing episode. I'm losing the n ice weather and am hoping to get this thing going by the end of the month.
