carburetor identification

I have a 1976 Mercury 7.5 and they used several different carbs. on them and thing they made 4 different models ?
Any way I can determine witch carb . and what model I have ?

Serial number is 4555696

There should be #'s stamped on the bolt flange to the motor with the carb type and style for the carb. Diagrams for the carb can be found at Crowlley Marine or Marine Engines websites for your carb.
