Hello-
Just rebuilt my carb on a Johnson 18hp 1964 model and adjusted the float and put new needle and seat in. The kit has the new plastic float. When I went to prime the system, gas was pouring out the throat of the carb and bubbling out weep hole on top left side of carb. I have had this apart so many times, I am running out of things to check. I did do the test where you turn the carb upside down and try to blow air into the carb. No air would go through when upside down, right side up it allowed it to go through. This should signal that the float is working fine. Also, tried the old needle, seat, and float and it does the same thing! Is there anyone out there who has run into this that could help? Thanks!
