:rolleyes:My carburetors are not bleeding; therefore, there is no gas getting to the pistons.
I set up a test bench:
- Attached each carburetor directly to the fuel tank (one at a time) and pumped the primer/hand pump ? no gas came out of the carburetor inlet needles.

- Note, I clean the carburetor and flushed them with carburetor cleaner. The carburetor cleaner flowed through the carburetor good; however, when I put them on the test bench ? no gas flowed through the carburetor inlet needles
after I pumped the primer/hand pump.

Re: carburetors are not bleeding

What kind of cleaner did you use? The comercial cleaners will make the o-ring in the needle valve swell, making it almost impossible for fuel to flow.If you have the carbs off, hook them up to the fuel line and turn them upside down and then squeeze the ball.If no gas flows then the needle valve is stuck.Jerry

Re: carburetors are not bleeding

Thanks,
Do you mean the fuel bowl will be facing up in the air and not on the bottom like when it is attached to the engine?
