Trying to find 4X8' sheets.

Thanks

Re: Cardboard?

Do you mean cardboard or corrugate paper board (the stuff that "cardboard" cartons are usually made of)?

I have used that stuff for several non-boat projects. Always got it from salvaged cartons.

It's maybe a bit more expensive, but I was planning on using foam core poster board for my templates... you can get it at art supply places, it's as tough as the appliance box cardboard, is stiffer, lighter, and easier to cut.

It's even foam core... for all I know you can just glass over it and use it instead of a wood core

Re: Cardboard?

You could check with your local best buy store. They usually toss their boxes. Just sweet talk the people in appliances and they'll keep you in the carboard for a long time to come. Also if you have a Sam's club local they usually have 4x4 sheets in between the toilet and paper towel skids. Card board makes great target backing! lol I can continue the list if you like.

Best,

Commercial door supplier. Not HD or Lowes but a company that supplies doors and hardware for office buildings. Wooden doors are often seperated by sheets of cardboard during shipping.

Re: Cardboard?

4x8 is hard to come by m8..

however..anyone that ships in pallets normally has cardboard on the bottom of the jack.. ( 4x4 )

anyone that ships alot of pallets would be your best bet in your community..

Or you can spring for 5'x250' for about 140 bucks..ouchies..!
