Caribbean?

Hello. I am looking at getting my first boat. I have come across one for sale by a friends relative. It's make is a Caribbean. I owner said it was manufactured in the Carolinas. It has the cut of a Four Winns. It is a 19' Cuddy with a 4 cylinder Mercruiser and and Alpha One drive. Has anyone heard or know anything about these boats? Thank you.

On the stern of the boat, usually just below the rub rail and on the starboard side, there should be a number stamped into the hull. That is the Hull Identification Number. If you can post up that number, there are ways to decode that and figure out the manufacturer.

There is a Caribbean manufacturer out of Australia, but I've not hear of that boat in the US. (Not that it means they didn't make 'em).
