any good carpet store will have the glue you need, make sure you get water proof not water resistance there is a difference. i think a gal goes for about 18or 20 dollars if i remember right, hope this helps ya.
make sure it is an outdoor or marine carpet glue. i was told that i could use multi purpose glue by the people that sold me my carpet...wrong!!! carpet came right up after the first rainfall. had to replace all with marine carpet adhesive. been perfect ever since. you can get in any hardware store.

... have you thought of foregoing the glue and going with ss snaps? might be another way to go. once back from the lake or rain gets on it you can pull it up and dry it out. done in sections on the deck is how i've seen the newer boats doing it.
