It will depend on how much of the hull you plan to carpet? It's a matter of measuring for it. Are you doing the sides, floor bow area, storage areas, etc...?
On my one boat, the bow area is bare, only a glass floor, but the sides are carpeted up to the gunwales, and their's a strip across the rear seat bottom, as well as having the seat boxes carpeted. I plan to redo the interior and do away with all of the carpet in favor of something easier to clean.
