This is my first post. I've been checking out a lot of the project threads, and theyre all very informative. I've been working on a 1984 bayliner capri. New carpet, panels, upholstery, etc. The floor was pretty good and the stringers look new. I'm guessing someone did some work on it in the past 26 years ha. Anyways, now that you have the background. I ran out of marine carpet glue yesterday and all lowes carries is Henry 663 Outdoor Carpet adhesive. My question is: will this be good enough? Where I live, all we have is walmart and lowes, so other than ordering online, I'm limited by where I can get supplies.

Re: carpet glue

Welcome to iboats.

I used stuff from home depot called Indoor/Outdoor 6700 Adhesive and it works fine. If it's an outdoor adhesive you should be fine.
