Hi there everyone, Thanks again for all the help I have been getting. Well, I have made it past the stringers, past the foam, past the decking and now onto new carpet. There is light at the end of the tunnel for me and my 1978 fiberglass 17ft. Lund bow-rider.
This weekend I will embark on the carpet installing journey. I ordered my new centric seats and carpet from Veada. (by the way they are awesome over there!!)
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for carpeting the floor?? And I still haven't thought of a very efficient or cosmetically appealing way to carpet the live well or the rod storage box. I want to make sure no visible seams are there. I could really use some tips on that!
So far my 1st boat rebuild has been going great with the exception that every one who sees the boat wants to change my ideas into there ideas. I have learned allot and I've come to the conclusion I would never want to do this for a living!! I am having fun doing this as a winter project but I will confess it is damn hard work, not to mention a bit itchy. But I found a roll of duct tape works great for the itchy fiberglass.
Thank again everyone,
Jason
p.s. I'll post lots of pics when I'm done.
