I've got a 97 model 21 foot bowrider with full carpet in the boat. I really hate the stuff and its about time to consider replacing it. Has anyone found any good alternatives to going back to carpet? Is there a coating product out there that will give similar results to a gel coat / fiberglass deck? I was considering this stuff (sorry, not available on iBoats)

Does anyone have any experience with it?

Appreciate any advise or opinions

Why not pull up the carpet (and probably the wood fllor underneathe it) and lay down due decking encased in fiberglass? Then you can add what ever non-skid surface you want and even install snap-in carpet if you like.

I'd love to, but I don't think my skills are up to my quality standards. That sounds like a pretty tough job, strip the interior, recut the decking, glass it in, coat it; well beyond my current skill set.
