Re: Carrier Bearing

I certianly understand your confusion, I don't know who did the parts book here, it calls the bearing a carrier bearing, you look it up in the parts illustration and it give you the chose of 2 and no way tell which one it is, if you type in the part number it calls it a outside bearing and shows a photo of a ball bearing. I looked the part up in a mercury parts manual the number is 32-21700 that's a good number I don't know where you found the number you have but that is not the right number according to Mercury. Then I went to a Sierra parts manual (that is the company which manufactures the parts that iboats sells) and cross referenced the 31-21700 to a Sierra number 18-1095. which retails at around $8.00 which won't buy you a complete carrier.

Re: Carrier Bearing

I just searched eBay and didn't see one for your serial number range/part number. You might try calling one of the salvage yards that runs listings on eBay. I've found parts that way.
